XLPE/PVC insulated power cable has a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable.
Various of flame-retardant and non-flame retardant XLPE cable can be manufactured with three technology(peroxide, silane and irradiation crosslinking). The flame-retardant cable covers all kinds of low-smoke low-halogen low-smoke halogen free, and non-smoke nonhalogented and three classes of A, B, C.
1). Standard: IEC60502
Our XLPE cable can be manufactured according to companys specification which is equivalent to IEC 60502, IEC 60332, and IEC 60754.
2). The rated voltages
U0/U(Um) of the cables considered in this standard are as follows:
Conductor: Solid or stranded copper Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Filler: Polypropylene filament with lapped binding tape Binder: Binding tape Inner sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Amour: Galvanized steel wire armored(SWA) or steel tape armored(STA) Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cross-section area can be up to 400 sqmm (copper or aluminiun conductor). Conductor long-time operating temperature is 90 degrees. In short circuit, conductor highest temperature should be not more than 250 degrees.
4). Application: For laying in ground along route with large difference of level able to bear external mechanical forces.

6). Installation: CU/XLPE/SWA/PVC and CU/PVC/SWA/PVC power cable can be installed in air, duct, conduit or direct burial. It is recommended that the installation instructions indicated by the Local Electric Code, or any equivalent, be followed, so that the safeguarding of persons and the integrity of the product will not be affected by deficiencies in the installation
